Senior Developer for Phoenix Technology Group.

Developed a BAFTA-nominated visitor information installation for the National Galleries of Scotland which uses a REST web service to drive a FlashMX user-interface.

I am a member of NSAI/ICTSCC/SC4, the Working Group for Irish standardisation in the field of Codes, Character Sets and Internationalisation and the RSS 1.0 Working Group.

I am an active participant in a variety of interest groups, including the W3C’s WAI IG and RDF IG and the IETF Language list (which amongst other things reviews proposed additions to IANA-registered language tags), and an ISOC member.

I had a professional relationship with boards.ie when I worked for them as an employee of Spin Solutions, and remain a participant in the community.

I am a founder of Open, a collection of Irish mailing lists for Irish Web professionals.
